“Is there anything I can do?” Xavier looks almost pained, but after a long three minutes of silence, Charles offers a sad sort of smile.
“Cut my hair for me? I can’t do it with just one arm,” he asks, without really asking though, because Xavier knows the difference between a kind request and a desperate plea. He’s known Charles long enough, knows him more than well enough. Xavier reaches out, drags fingers down Charles’s hair before nodding.
